Audio Recording

The AR-2 provides an output for the recording of audio conducted on the T3 Security Communication System. The AR-2 can be connected to a digital or analog recorder, or a sound card in a PC. Audio conducted on the system in a variety of means can be recorded, such as the audio heard during security monitoring, the audio that occurs during a console and intercom station conversation, and the audio transmitted to a page zone from a console.
Recording with the AR-2 can be started and ended at any time. If the AR-2 is connected to a PC and sound card, any third-party recording software can be used, such as the standard Sound Recorder available with Windows®. The AR-2 does not need to be programmed with T3-SC or third-party software for the recording of audio.
