Achieving good voice
intelligibility using traditional intercom and paging equipment is
difficult, especially in hard surface environments that render poor
acoustical properties.
The T3-SC addresses this condition by allowing
for the electronic adjustment of the audio level, frequency response, and
listen sensitivity for each intercom station. Adjusting the audio
level eliminates the need to physically retap speakers.
Adjusting
the frequency response and listen sensitivity improves the intelligibility
of voice communications heard at the console by shaping the characteristics
of each intercom station to the acoustical environment of its
location.
The electronic adjustment process makes
the difference in
providing clear intelligible voice communications in a crisis situation.
