Telecor Attendant CTI Client Application

Attendant is an optional software application for the Windows® operating system. When loaded onto a user's PC, it adds the functionality of a reception console to the PC screen. The receptionist can process calls while working on other Windows® applications. Since the application is simple to use, no extensive training or experience is necessary.

Maximum efficiency is immediately apparent, as more calls can be answered quickly and more information can be passed along with each call. Graphic icons show the current status of all active lines and extensions. The power of the computer is able to provide the operator with a vast amount of information about each telephone extension and the calls. Caller ID and Call Status information is readily available on the screen. Call processing is easily managed by using point-and-click of the mouse, one-touch access to function keys on the keyboard, keyboard shortcuts or a combination of all three. Different user configurations allow the operator to streamline operations by integrating their personal work habits with Attendant.

The Transfer window in Attendant interfaces with the Caller Database (available on each extension). This keeps a record of the call, showing the Caller ID, the name of the caller, and with whom the caller has spoken in the past. The Transfer window also enables the receptionist to enter a text message, if required

The Calls window initiates incoming calls. Calls are arranged with the most recent call appearing at the bottom of the Calls window. Callers can be transferred to the appropriate extension using the drag-and-drop feature.

The Extensions window provides a directory of extensions and the current status of each. Detailed information appears when an extension is highlighted, showing the number of lines in use, duration of the call, and number of Voice Mail messages.
