AMS Configurations

The AMS System is available in two
configurations:
AMS-50 BASIC
This configuration is used in applications where there is a
requirement to control auxiliary devices (CCTV cameras, graphic panels,
etc.) in conjunction with alarm activation of the AMS System.
Line/Relay Cards are used in the AMS-50. Five independent channels
of monitoring are provided on each Line/Relay Card and each card cage can
support up to 10 Line/Relay Cards, allowing for up to 50 channels of audio
monitoring.
The card is also configured with a relay contact that provides the option
of controlling an auxiliary device (i.e. CCTV camera).

AMS-100 BASIC
This configuration is used in applications where there is no requirement to
control auxiliary devices (CCTV cameras, graphic panels, etc.) in
conjunction with AMS operation. Line Cards are used in the
AMS-100. Five independent channels of monitoring are provided on each Line
Card and each card cage can support up to 20 Line Cards, allowing for up to
100 channels of audio monitoring.
